JOB DESCRIPTION
The Electrical Engineering Manager is a key member of the engineering leadership 
team leading an aggressive electrical product development team focused on fuel cell 
systems. As the leader of the electrical engineering function, the position will be 
responsible for supervising the development of electrical architecture, performance 
of various trade studies and, carrying out electrical design and system integration 
activities underlying our proprietary technology. The individual will also act the 
leader of the EE discipline and ensure to maintain best-in-class practices in design, 
modeling and verification.

QUALIFICATIONS
Hardware Selection
	Successful candidate will have hands-on experience and leading teams in the 
areas of analog and digital electronics, integration and troubleshooting components 
into the electrical systems module (ESM), various sensors and embedded 
controllers, etc.
Requirements specification and system analysis
	Successful candidate will also be capable of leading electrical systems analysis 
and related tradeoff studies, performance of electrical designs and verification 
testing of hardware.
	Should also be capable of specifying requirements and finalizing selection of all 
electrical hardware for the ESM.
Component models and testing
	Supervise modeling of relevant power electronics components in order to 
simulate off-design conditions
	Validate model results against existing test data or devise tests to generate 
data that can be used for validation purposes
	Present results to peers and/or senior management
Troubleshooting
	When component issues arise in the Factory or Field, lead the investigations 
using tool such as DIVE, Fault Tree, Red X, and Seven Diamonds to identify root 
cause and implement timely mitigations / corrective actions
 
EXPERIENCE
	Strong power electronics experience needed
	3-5 years recent experience designing and developing power electronics 
components
	5+ years as a hands-on electrical engineer
	3+ years working as team lead or manager of electrical engineers
	3+ years leading cross function teams in product development

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL
	Candidate must have experience with power electronics
	Candidate must also have experience in electrical systems design and modeling

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION
	BS in Electrical Engineering
	Candidates with advanced degree strongly preferred

Job may include up to 20% travel
